I can't let it go, I can't let them go...

How many times per day do you think about Tanzania? How many many times per day do you compare your daily life with the one you once had there? How many times do you speak about your experience over there? How many times have you thought for one moment: "I wish I could be there for one more day"? I don't know about you, but I speak more times about Tanzania than the times I mention all my ex-girlfriends and future girlfriends... together. There is not a single day that I don't think in Tanzania. Even though, I 'speak' more Swahili than when I was there I just regret that I didn't learn it. I even got a tattoo of the Kilimanjaro! Too much, maybe? I don't think so. Tanzania, Mwanza, Sports Charity Mwanza, Volunteers, Tanzanian people, Mama, Kiva... gave my a purpose. This experience showed me who I was and what I wanted to do in life. How many people live their life without a purpose?
I wouldn't be doing a PhD at the same time than working. I would not have had the chance to start working where I am working right now. I wouldn't feel this type of happiness, the one that cannot be explained with words. We learn that life is not that complicated, the most important things are free. You have to learn to feel it. To be honest, I can make up a lot of excuses to not be involved. However, it's is all about those feelings, those people, those moments... I can't let it go, I can't let them go. Someone told me a few weeks ago: "if you can't let it go, you have to learn to love it". And I do, I do love Tanzania, Mwanza, you guys... my twin
So, my answer is yes, yes I am in. Let's fucking do it together. It has been difficult, but as all you know I love Atletico de Madrid, this team is the meaning of how I understand what it is all about 'life'. Step by step, never in your life give up, it doesn't matter how many times we lose against Real Madrid, we will win the Champions League in 2018 or 2019. Success is not about a good year, what ATM is building is a structure of winners and like the Taj Mahal or the Alhambra, you can't build an empire in one day, in one year... you need the right people, the right leaders, the right coaches, managers and players and then, be patient, my friend, because it is going to be hard. But again, "when you choose your goal, you choose your pain". I love this pain, if this pain is going to help people, then I want to feel it the rest of my life. I believe in the project, but by far I believe in all managers, leaders, coaches, players that we are. Jurgen Estelle Reed
I will follow them. I will be an annoyed team player who wants to win, but before we have to score as many goals as possible with a different meaning. Let's be a team player. And of course, I believe in all the rest, especially in my Germans! Sabine, Lukas, Gustav, Lisa, Martin, Stef, Nat, Tom... Dudley (I don't know you in person, but you look like a cool guy) And all the volunteers that I didn't meet.
Let's do it, let's show to the world, to our friends how crazy we are and let's make them ask themselves "Why I didn't do this before? How can I be one of them?" And at the end, they will join our cause of sharing happiness around the world. That was the first idea, wasn't it? I am carrying that spirit in my blood and I am feeling in my heart since the day I left Tanzania. Love you, Alejandra.
